Ο Δίσκος της Φαιστού είναι ένας δίσκος από πηλό από το μινωικό παλάτι της Φαιστού στο νησί της Κρήτης. Τώρα, το νησί της Κρήτης είναι μέρος της σύγχρονης Ελλάδας. Ο δίσκος ανακαλύφθηκε το 1908 από τον Ιταλό αρχαιολόγο Luigi Pernier στο μινωικό παλάτι της Φαιστού. Ακόμα και στις μέρες μας η αποκρυπτογράφηση του δεν είναι ξεκάθαρη, καθιστώντας το ένα από τα πιο διάσημα μυστήρια της αρχαιολογίας. Ο δίσκος έχει διάμετρο περίπου 15 εκατοστά και καλύπτεται και στις δύο πλευρές με μια σπείρα από σφραγισμένα σύμβολα. Ο δίσκος διαθέτει 241 μάρκες, που περιλαμβάνουν 45 ξεχωριστά σημάδια, τα οποία φτιάχτηκαν προφανώς πιέζοντας ιερογλυφικές «σφραγίδες» σε ένα δίσκο από μαλακό πηλό, με μια δεξιόστροφη ακολουθία που στρέφεται προς το κέντρο του δίσκου. Αυτό το μοναδικό αντικείμενο εκτίθεται τώρα στο αρχαιολογικό μουσείο Ηρακλείου.

Ο σχεδιασμός Μαίανδρος είναι ένα διακοσμητικό περιθώριο που αποτελείται από μια συνεχή γραμμή, σχηματίζοντας επαναλαμβανόμενο μοτίβο. Αυτός ο σχεδιασμός ονομάζεται επίσης ελληνικό κλειδί ή ελληνικό γλυφτό, αν και αυτές είναι σύγχρονες ονομασίες. It is supposed to wear off evil to anyone who wears it and various cultures believe in that, however in Greece, it’s blue because at that time blue eyes were not so common and were thought to give the evil eye, so the blue is like a mirror to them. Ο Ηρακλής ήταν αρχαίος μυθικός ήρωας, θεωρούμενος ως ο μέγιστος των Ελλήνων ηρώων. Γεννήθηκε στη Θήβα και ήταν γιος του Δία και της Αλκμήνης. Σύμφωνα με τον Διόδωρο Σικελιώτη και τον Απολλόδωρο η καθιέρωση των Ολυμπιακών αγώνων αποδίδεται στον Ηρακλή.

Μενταγιόν με την Θεά Αθηνά – Ασήμι 925 Επιχρυσωμένο
Θεά Αθηνά και Κουκουβάγια – Αθηναϊκό ασημένιο τετράδραχμο.

Αυτό το νόμισμα ανήκει στα λεγόμενα «αθηναϊκά νομίσματα νέου στυλ» που κόπηκαν μεταξύ 166 και 64 π.Χ. και θεωρείται ένα από τα πιο δημοφιλή αρχαία ελληνικά νομίσματα που απεικονίζουν το πορτρέτο της Θεάς Αθηνάς. Η Αθηνά σχετίζεται με τη σοφία, τη χειροτεχνία και τον πόλεμο. Η Αθηνά θεωρούνταν προστάτιδα διαφόρων πόλεων σε όλη την Ελλάδα, αλλά ιδιαίτερα της Αθήνας, η οποία πήρε το όνομά της από εκείνη. Συνήθως εμφανίζεται στην τέχνη φορώντας κράνος και κρατώντας ένα δόρυ. Τα κύρια σύμβολά της περιλαμβάνουν κουκουβάγιες, ελιές και φίδια. Οι ναοί της βρίσκονταν στην οχυρωμένη Ακρόπολη στο κεντρικό τμήμα της πόλης. Ο Παρθενώνας στην Ακρόπολη της Αθήνας είναι αφιερωμένος σε αυτήν, μαζί με πολλούς άλλους ναούς και μνημεία. Το κύριο πανηγύρι της στην Αθήνα ήταν τα Παναθήναια, τα οποία γιορτάζονταν το καλοκαίρι και ήταν το σημαντικότερο πανηγύρι του αθηναϊκού ημερολογίου. Στο κλασικό Ολύμπιο πάνθεον, η Αθηνά θεωρούνταν η αγαπημένη κόρη του Δία. Η κουκουβάγια συνοδεύει παραδοσιακά την Αθηνά. Λόγω αυτής της συσχέτισης, η κουκουβάγια έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί ως σύμβολο γνώσης και σοφίας. Οι επιγραφές περιέχουν την «εθνική» ονομασία της πόλης («ΑΘΕ», δηλαδή «των Αθηναίων»).

Αυτό το Αρχαίο Ελληνικό νόμισμα αντιπροσωπεύει τον Μέγα Αλέξανδρο από τη μία πλευρά και τον Λυσίμαχο από την άλλη. Ο Μέγας Αλέξανδρος ο Βασιλιάς της Μακεδονίας θεωρείται μία από τις σημαντικότερες μορφές της παγκόσμιας ιστορίας. Ο Λυσίμαχος ήταν Μακεδόνας αξιωματικός και διάδοχος του Μεγάλου Αλεξάνδρου, ο οποίος έγινε βασιλέας το 306 π.Χ., κυβερνώντας τη Θράκη, τη Μικρά Ασία και τη Μακεδονία.

In Greek mythology, the Minotaur is a mythical creature portrayed in Classical times with the head and tail of a bull and the body of a man. He dwelt at the center of the Labyrinth, which was an elaborate maze-like construction designed by the architect Daedalus and his son Icarus, on the command of King Minos of Crete. The Minotaur was eventually killed by the Athenian hero Theseus.

History
The Phaistos Disc is a disk of fired clay from the Minoan palace of Phaistos on the island of Crete. Now, the island of Crete is part of modern Greece. The disc was discovered in 1908 by the Italian archaeologist Luigi Pernier in the Minoan palace site of Phaistos. While it is not clear that it is a script, most attempted decipherments assume that it is; most additionally assume a syllabary, others an alphabet or logography or a calendar.

Μενταγιόν Περικεφαλαία Λεωνίδα – Ασήμι 925

Αυτό το μενταγιόν είναι εμπνευσμένο από το κράνος του Λεωνίδα.
Ο Λεωνίδας ήταν πολεμιστής της ελληνικής πόλης της Σπάρτης. Αναμφισβήτητα, ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους ήρωες στην ιστορία της αρχαίας Ελλάδας. Το 480 π.Χ. ο Λεωνίδας ηγήθηκε ενός στρατού 6.000 έως 7.000 Ελλήνων από πολλές πόλεις-κράτη, συμπεριλαμβανομένων 300 Σπαρτιατών, οι οποίοι πολέμησαν τον περσικό στρατό που εισέβαλε από το πέρασμα των Θερμοπυλών. Ο Λεωνίδας της Σπάρτης έκλεισε τον μοναδικό δρόμο από τον οποίο μπορούσε να περάσει ο τεράστιος στρατός του Ξέρξη. Οι Πέρσες κατάφεραν να νικήσουν τους Έλληνες αλλά υπέστησαν μεγάλες απώλειες. Ένας ντόπιος κάτοικος ονόματι Εφιάλτης οδήγησε τον Πέρση στρατηγό από μια ορεινή πλαγιά στο πίσω μέρος των Ελλήνων. Ο βασιλιάς Λεωνίδας απέστειλε όλα τα ελληνικά στρατεύματα και έμεινε πίσω με 300 Σπαρτιάτες, 400 Θηβαίους και 700 Θεσπιείς εθελοντές που αρνήθηκαν να φύγουν. Σκοτώθηκαν όλοι στο πεδίο της μάχης, προστατεύοντας την πατρίδα τους.
