Η ροζέτα
Η ροζέτα (ή ρόδο) αποτελεί ένα διαχρονικό κόσμημα, σύμβολο και φυλαχτό. Η λέξη προέρχεται από το ελληνικό ρόδον (τριαντάφυλλο). Η χρήση της ξεκινά από την εποχή των Μυκηναίων και φτάνει μέχρι το 2ο χιλιετηρίδα π.Χ.
Η μυκηναϊκή ροζέτα ήταν ένα μοτίβο διαδεδομένο στη Μεσοποταμία, την Αίγυπτο, την Ελλάδα και άλλους αρχαίους πολιτισμούς. Εμπνεύστηκε από μια μυκηναϊκή χάντρα ροζέτας που βρέθηκε στις Μυκήνες και χρονολογείται γύρω στο 1400-1300 π.Χ.
Η ροζέτα χρησιμοποιήθηκε εκτενώς στα αρχαία ελληνικά μυκηναϊκά κοσμήματα, στην αρχιτεκτονική, την κεραμική και τα γλυπτά ήδη από το 1500 π.Χ.
Οι μυκηναϊκές ροζέτες είχαν συνήθως 6, 8, 12 ή ακόμα και 16 φύλλα, με παραλλαγές ανάλογα με την εποχή και τις πεποιθήσεις.
Οι ροζέτες στόλιζαν τα ενδύματα, τις ζώνες και τα στεφάνια των βασιλιάδων.
Ο αριθμός των φύλλων είχε συμβολικό χαρακτήρα, αναπαριστώντας στοιχεία όπως τα τέσσερα στοιχεία της φύσης (άνεμος, γη, φωτιά, νερό), τα επτά θαύματα του αρχαίου κόσμου, τους δώδεκα θεούς του Ολύμπου, καθώς και την κυριαρχία και τη λάμψη των Μακεδόνων βασιλιάδων.
Αποτελούσαν σύμβολα ομορφιάς, αγνότητας, ευγονίας, λατρείας και δύναμης.
Η ροζέτα ή ρόδαξ υπήρξε πιθανότατα το πιο δημοφιλές και αγαπημένο διακοσμητικό μοτίβο στη μυκηναϊκή εποχή, την κλασική αρχαιότητα και τη βυζαντινή περίοδο.

It was an olive branch, of the wild- olive tree that grew at Olympia, intertwined to form a circle or a horse-shoe. According to Pausanias it was introduced by Heracles as a prize for the running race winner to honor his father Zeus. In the ancient Olympic Games there were no gold, silver, or bronze medals. There was only one winner per event, crowned with an olive wreath made of wild-olive leaves from a sacred tree near the temple of Zeus at Olympia. Olive wreaths were given out during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens in honor of the ancient tradition because the games were being held in Greece.

Κατασκευασμένα από Ασήμι 925.
Το στεφάνι ελιάς ήταν το έπαθλο του νικητή στους αρχαίους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες. Σύμφωνα με τον Παυσανία, εισήχθη από τον Ηρακλή ως έπαθλο για τον νικητή των αγώνων, για να τιμήσει τον πατέρα του Δία. Στους αρχαίους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες δεν υπήρχαν χρυσά, αργυρά ή χάλκινα μετάλλια. Υπήρχε μόνο ένας νικητής ανά εκδήλωση, ο οποίος στέφονταν με ένα στεφάνι ελιάς.

Μινωικό μενταγιόν Διπλό Με Τσεκούρι από Ασήμι 925.
Μενταγιόν Λάβρυς. Η Λάβρυς είναι, σύμφωνα με τον Πλούταρχο, η μινωική λέξη για το διπλό τσεκούρι, που στην ελληνική ονομάζεται πέλεκυς. Στην αρχαία Κρήτη, το διπλό τσεκούρι ήταν ένα σημαντικό ιερό σύμβολο της μινωικής θρησκείας. Στην Κρήτη, ποτέ δεν συνοδεύει θεούς, αλλά πάντα θεές. Φαίνεται ότι σχετιζόταν με την λατρεία της Μητέρας Γης ή της Μεγάλης Θεάς.
Σχεδιασμένο εμπνευσμένο από την Αρχαία Ελλάδα. Στην αρχαία Κρήτη, το διπλό τσεκούρι ήταν ένα σημαντικό ιερό σύμβολο της ενδεχόμενης μινωικής θρησκείας και φαίνεται ότι ήταν το σύμβολο της αρχής της δημιουργίας.

Βραχιόλι με Δίσκο της Φαιστού – Ασήμι 925
Αυτό το πανέμορφο ασημένιο βραχιόλι αναπαριστά το δίσκο της Φαιστού. Ο δίσκος της Φαιστού είναι ένας δίσκος από ψημένο πηλό από το μινωικό ανάκτορο της Φαιστού στο νησί της Κρήτης. Τώρα, το νησί της Κρήτης αποτελεί μέρος της σύγχρονης Ελλάδας. Ο δίσκος ανακαλύφθηκε το 1908 από τον Ιταλό αρχαιολόγο Λουίτζι Περνιέ στο μινωικό ανάκτορο-χώρο της Φαιστού. Αν και δεν είναι σαφές ότι πρόκειται για γραφή, οι περισσότερες απόπειρες αποκρυπτογράφησης υποθέτουν ότι είναι- οι περισσότεροι επιπλέον υποθέτουν συλλαβισμό, άλλοι αλφάβητο ή λογογραφία ή ημερολόγιο. Ο σχεδιασμός Μαιάνδρου είναι μια διακοσμητική περίμετρος κατασκευασμένη από μια συνεχόμενη γραμμή, σχηματισμένη σε επαναλαμβανόμενο μοτίβο. Αυτός ο σχεδιασμός ονομάζεται επίσης “ελληνικός φράκτης” ή “ελληνικό κλειδί”, αν και αυτές είναι σύγχρονες ονομασίες. Από τη μια πλευρά, το όνομα “μαιανδρος” θυμίζει τον στριφογυριστό και αδιόρατο δρόμο του ποταμού Μαιάνδρου στην Μικρά Ασία, και από την άλλη, όπως επισήμανε ο Karl Kerenyi, “ο μαιάνδρος είναι η μορφή ενός λαβύρινθου σε γραμμική μορφή”. Η έννοια είναι ότι δεν υπάρχει αρχή και τέλος σε ορισμένες περιπτώσεις, οπότε γίνεται το σύμβολο της μακροχρόνιας ζωής και της αιωνιότητας.

Labrys Axe Pendant. Labrys is, according to Plutarch, Minoan word for the double headed axe called in Greek πέλεκυς (pélekus). In ancient Crete, the double axe was an important sacred symbol of the Minoan religion. In Crete it never accompanies male gods, but always female goddesses. It seems that it associated with the worship of Mother Earth or Great Goddess.
