The olive wreath also known as kotinos was the prize for the winner at the ancient Olympic Games. It was an olive branch, of the wild- olive tree that grew at Olympia,intertwined to form a circle or a horse-shoe. According to Pausanias it was introduced by Heracles as a prize for the running race winner to honour his father Zeus. In the ancient Olympic Games there were no gold, silver, or bronze medals. There was only one winner per event, crowned with an olive wreath made of wild-olive leaves from a sacred tree near the temple of Zeus at Olympia. Olive wreaths were given out during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens in honor of the ancient tradition, because the games were being held in Greece.

Σκουλαρίκια Κρεμαστά με τον Δίσκο της Φαιστού – Ασήμι 925
Κατασκευασμένα από ασήμι 925.
Ο Δίσκος της Φαιστού είναι ένας δίσκος από πηλό από το μινωικό παλάτι της Φαιστού στο νησί της Κρήτης. Τώρα, το νησί της Κρήτης είναι μέρος της σύγχρονης Ελλάδας. Ο δίσκος ανακαλύφθηκε το 1908 από τον Ιταλό αρχαιολόγο Luigi Pernier στο μινωικό παλάτι της Φαιστού. Ακόμα και στις μέρες μας η αποκρυπτογράφηση του δεν είναι ξεκάθαρη, καθιστώντας το ένα από τα πιο διάσημα μυστήρια της αρχαιολογίας. Ο δίσκος έχει διάμετρο περίπου 15 εκατοστά και καλύπτεται και στις δύο πλευρές με μια σπείρα από σφραγισμένα σύμβολα. Ο δίσκος διαθέτει 241 μάρκες, που περιλαμβάνουν 45 ξεχωριστά σημάδια, τα οποία φτιάχτηκαν προφανώς πιέζοντας ιερογλυφικές «σφραγίδες» σε ένα δίσκο από μαλακό πηλό, με μια δεξιόστροφη ακολουθία που στρέφεται προς το κέντρο του δίσκου. Αυτό το μοναδικό αντικείμενο εκτίθεται τώρα στο αρχαιολογικό μουσείο Ηρακλείου.

Ο Ηρακλής ήταν αρχαίος μυθικός ήρωας, θεωρούμενος ως ο μέγιστος των Ελλήνων ηρώων. Γεννήθηκε στη Θήβα και ήταν γιος του Δία και της Αλκμήνης. Σύμφωνα με τον Διόδωρο Σικελιώτη και τον Απολλόδωρο η καθιέρωση των Ολυμπιακών αγώνων αποδίδεται στον Ηρακλή.

Το σχέδιο Μαιάνδρου είναι ένα διακοσμητικό περίγραμμα που δημιουργείται από μια συνεχή γραμμή, η οποία σχηματίζεται σε ένα επαναλαμβανόμενο μοτίβο. Ένα τέτοιο σχέδιο ονομάζεται επίσης ελληνικός κροσσός ή ελληνικό σχέδιο κλειδιού, αν και πρόκειται για σύγχρονες ονομασίες. Από τη μία πλευρά, η ονομασία “μαίανδρος” θυμίζει τη στροφική πορεία του ποταμού Μαιάνδρου στη Μικρά Ασία, και από την άλλη πλευρά, όπως επεσήμανε ο Karl Kerenyi, “ο μαίανδρος είναι το σχήμα ενός λαβύρινθου σε γραμμική μορφή” το νόημα είναι ότι δεν υπάρχει αρχή και τέλος σε ορισμένες περιπτώσεις έτσι γίνεται το σύμβολο της μακράς ζωής και της αιωνιότητας.

The Phaistos Disc is a disk of fired clay from the Minoan palace of Phaistos on the island of Crete. Now, the island of Crete is part of modern Greece. The disc was discovered in 1908 by the Italian archaeologist Luigi Pernier in the Minoan palace-site of Phaistos. While it is not clear that it is a script, most attempted decipherments assume that it is; most additionally assume a syllabary, others an alphabet or logography or a calendar, making it one of the most famous mysteries of archaeology. The disk is about 15 cm in diameter and covered on both sides with a spiral of stamped symbols. The disc features 241 tokens, comprising 45 distinct signs, which were apparently made by pressing hieroglyphic “seals” into a disc of soft clay, in a clockwise sequence spiraling toward the center of the disk. This unique object is now on display at the archaeological museum of Heraklion.

Drop Earrings inspired by the Minoan jewellery. “Snake goddess” is a type of figurine depicting a woman holding a snake in each hand, as were found in Minoan archaeological sites in Crete. The first two of such figurines were found by the British archaeologist Arthur Evans and date to the Minoan civilization. Κολιέ Στεφάνι Ελιάς – Ασήμι 925 Επιχρυσωμένο
Ένα κολιέ εμπνευσμένο από το στεφάνι ελιάς, το σύμβολο της ειρήνης, της αφθονίας και της επιτυχίας. Το στεφάνι ελιάς ήταν το έπαθλο του νικητή στους αρχαίους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες. Σύμφωνα με τον Παυσανία, εισήχθη από τον Ηρακλή ως έπαθλο για τον νικητή των αγόνων, για να τιμήσει τον πατέρα του Δία. Στους αρχαίους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες δεν υπήρχαν χρυσά, αργυρά ή χάλκινα μετάλλια. Υπήρχε μόνο ένας νικητής ανά εκδήλωση, ο οποίος στέφονταν με ένα στεφάνι ελιάς.

History
The Phaistos Disc is a disk of fired clay from the Minoan palace of Phaistos on the island of Crete. Now, the island of Crete is part of modern Greece. The disc was discovered in 1908 by the Italian archaeologist Luigi Pernier in the Minoan palace site of Phaistos. While it is not clear that it is a script, most attempted decipherments assume that it is; most additionally assume a syllabary, others an alphabet or logography or a calendar.
